Leland Grigoli is a candidate for the degree of Master of Theological Studies at the Harvard University Divininity School, where he is advised by Professor Beverly Mayne Kienzle. He is also a project manager for Harvard's Digital Atlas of Roman and Medieval Civilization (DARMC) His research interests concern the intersection of social and intellectual history through the interaction of lived experience and theology in western Europe in the high to late Middle Ages. His previous projects have included his undergraduate thesis on the relationship between the scholastic theology of the will and the later medieval manifestation of female sanctity, as well as a study on the use of the cult of St. Anselm of Canterbury in the twelfth century in northern English Cistercian monastery of Holm Cultram.
